Beyond this frame

Capital Cities is the Los Angeles pop duo of Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian. Their bright synth-pop single “Safe and Sound” became an international hit, pairing retro-leaning production with a brass hook and dance-floor pulse. The song’s video received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Music Video.
